Companionship for older people in London

Nobody should go a week without a conversation.

The Companion Circle matches an older person with one regular companion, who visits each week, just for the company. Dominoes, the market, a record on, a proper catch-up.

  • One regular companion, matched to the person
  • Visits each week, just for the company
  • Company, not care
  • A free first home visit, with no obligation

The free first home visit

Tell us a little, and we will ring you.

It takes about a minute. There is no obligation, and no card details are asked for.

Thank you. That has reached us.

We will ring you on the number you gave, to arrange a free first home visit.

We ring rather than email.

The borough, or the first half of the postcode, is enough.

What their week looks like now, or what they enjoy.

We use your details only to reply to this enquiry, and we never sell them. See our privacy notice.

Being straight with you

Company, not care.

A companion is there for the conversation, the outing and the cup of tea. We are not a care provider, and these are the things we do not do.

If any of them is what is needed, a registered care provider is the right call, and we will say so.

  • Personal care — Washing, bathing, dressing or toileting.
  • Medication — Giving, prompting or managing doses.
  • Clinical tasks — Dressings, injections or anything a nurse would do.

It starts with a hello.
